P&C Association

Welcome to the Subiaco Primary School P&C Association!

The Subiaco Primary Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) is a group of parent & carer volunteers who work closely with the school to:

  • enhance the school community;
  • assist in the provision of resources for the benefit of children at the school; and
  • foster interest in educational matters.

The P&C is an incorporated association, governed by our Constitution, and a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

Subiaco Primary has a wonderful school community and we encourage you to be a part of it!

The 2025 P&C Executive and Committee Members were elected at the Annual General Meeting held in the School Library on Tuesday 4 March. The committees are always welcoming of new members so if you would like to be involved please contact one of the people listed below or send an email to the P&C President Jo Van Gorkum

Meetings

The P&C welcomes and encourages your participation in our school community.  If you’d like to get more involved in the school, then coming along to a P&C meeting is a great place to start.

  • Day: Monday
  • Time: 7:00pm
  • Weeks: 5 and 9 (usually)

Joining the P&C is easy. All you need to do is complete the below nomination form and pay the membership contribution of $1. This can be done in person at any P&C meeting or by contacting the President Jo Van Gorkum.

P&C Executive

President
The P&C President represents the P&C at school and community events, chairs the P&C meetings and supports the other P&C roles and committees.

Vice President
The Vice President is responsible for managing the ‘Entertainment Book’ fundraiser, coordinating the P&C Sundowner at the beginning of the school year, and assisting and supporting the President as required.

Treasurer
The Treasurer manages the P&C banking, finances and budget.

Secretary
The Secretary distributes the meeting agenda, manages time during the meeting and takes minutes.

Fundraising and Events Committee
The aim of this committee is to assist in the planning, preparation and coordination of fundraising and social events for the whole school community.

The aim of the committee is to maintain, update and monitor the P&C’s Facebook Page, if in use.

Healthy Hub Committee
The aim of this committee is to help develop, maintain and communicate a healthy approach to eating within the school.

Playground Committee
The Subiaco Primary School Parents & Citizens’ Association Inc. (P&C), together with the School, have identified renewal of the school playgrounds as a strategic project for the P&C to invest in.

Pool Committee
This aim of this committee is to manage the operation of the school pool which includes managing the ongoing relationship with Royal Life Saving. The Committee markets the pool, generates income by selling passes, ensures all insurances are sought and current and seeks funding support from external parties.

Uniform Shop Coordinator
The Uniform Shop Coordinator opens the uniform shop on a weekly basis and manages a team of volunteers. They also maintain and manage stock levels and process online orders.

CLP Coordinator
The CLP Coordinator shares information with the CLPs and supports them in fulfilling their role. They also provide a link with the school administration and P&C Executive.
