Thank you to all parents for your cooperation and assistance over the past few months. It has been an unfamiliar and worrying time for many of us. On a positive note, there have been some real benefits for our students in the areas of organisation, resilience and responsibility. Our students have become independent in their readiness for the school day and are taking greater care of their personal items, and as a result they are showing the confidence that they can do many things when faced with the challenge. Their resilience has improved as they move around the school independently, before and after school, and have overcome many of the little hitches that occur along the way.

In line with the latest Health advice, current Term 2 arrangements have been reviewed with the following changes from Week 10, Monday 29 June 2020:
Parents/carers may come on to school sites to attend meetings and for drop off and pick up purposes. We encourage parents to adhere to the ‘Kiss & Drop’ routine at the classroom door if bringing your child onto the school grounds.Adults should maintain physical distancing of one person per two square metres and good hygiene practices should be applied.
Parents/carers on site at all other times other than pick up/drop off, need to sign in at the school administration office.

School drop off time is from 8.30am.
Kindy and Pre-primary pick up time will now be from 3.00pm.
Kindy parents are asked to continue to drop off/and pick up your children from the playground area, it is not possible to maintain physical distancing of one person per two square metres in the Kindy corridor.

Years 1-6 pickup time is from 3.10pm.
The school gates will no longer be supervised by staff during pick up and drop off.
All visitors with an appropriate purpose are allowed onto the school grounds. All visitors, as per department guidelines, are required to sign in.
The Library, Admin block, hall and classroom access will be managed to maintain the physical distancing of one person per two square metres and good hygiene practices will continue to be applied.

Regular cleaning of used areas and minimising contact with the broader school population will continue.
Parents are asked not to just pop into the classrooms. If you want to contact your class teacher the best way is via email to arrange a meeting. Teacher email addresses can be found at https://subiacops.wa.edu.au/school/our-staff/. Click on names in blue.
