Prior to the camp, children will be issued with a camp booklet containing a full itinerary of activities, together with camp aims, rules and diary.
The all-inclusive maximum cost of the camp will be around $520, depending on how many students attend. The cost covers bus transport, food, accommodation, and activities. Pocket money, confectionery or electronic devices are NOT taken on camp by the students, however, disposable cameras are welcome.
More information will be provided via Compass and at the Year 6 parent information evening on Monday 7 February 2022 (Term 1 Week 2). The teachers will discuss the Year 6 program and provide an update and any other additional information about the camp. If you feel you will have difficulties meeting this commitment, please contact Mrs Beatrice Bouska to make other arrangements.
It should be noted the school regards attendance at the camp as a privilege and not a right, and any student whose behaviour is demonstrated to be unsuitable will not be permitted to attend. Likewise, students who disregard camp rules or behave in an antisocial manner may be sent home from camp. All rules and expectations regarding camp will be clearly explained and published in the camp booklets. The camp is intended as a thoroughly enjoyable learning experience for everyone.
Chris Shorter, Allistair Kettell, Jennie Richardson, Peter Hayward, Jamie Lund and Beatrice Bouska will be attending the camp.
